AFTER impressing the audience during William S. Reyes Elementary School’s Family Fun Night on Friday, CNMI’s Got Talent finalist Donato Santiago and his family are inviting the community to watch him sing tonight at the Marianas Business Plaza night market which starts at 6 p.m.
“I would like to invite the public to listen to my son and watch him perform tonight. I hope that he will become an inspiration to other potential stars on island,†Rebecca Urbano said.
During WSR’s Family Fun Night, Santiago sang Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.â€
Urbano said her 10-year-old son, who is a fourth grader at San Vicente Elementary School, does not practice before performing.
“So I am really shocked that he can pull off such a good performance.â€
She said she noticed Santiago’s singing talent when he was 5 years old.
“He just started singing Justin Biber’s ‘Baby.’ So I introduced him to more songs on YouTube.â€

Urbano said her younger daughter, Donna Rose, has also started showing an interest in singing and performed with her brother during WSR’s Family Night.
Like Santiago, Donna Rose does not practice but can perform the song on stage beautifully.
“I hope they will achieve their dream of becoming singers someday,†Urbano said.
