INDIVIDUALS who want to join the next group of Pacific Century Fellows Marianas Chapter are encouraged to submit their applications by Feb. 27, 2015.
Saipan Chamber of Commerce president Alex A. Sablan in his announcement during this monthâs membership meeting at the SandCastle said applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 45.
Applicants must submit a completed application with two letters of recommendation on or before the Feb. 27 deadline. Applicants must be able to attend a weekend retreat and meet the minimum attendance requirement.
The applicants will be selected on March 14, and the mandatory weekend retreat is set for March 27 to 28, 2015. The tuition fee to cover the fellowship expenses for the entire year will be assessed after the selection of successful applicants.

The Pacific Century fellowship is a nine-month program that begins with a two-day retreat and an all-day session once a month to address particular subjects of concern in the CNMI. Applicants come from all sectors including business, education, tourism, healthcare, government and non-profit organizations.
Last month, 18 individuals holding various positions in government and private institutions in the CNMI completed the first leadership development training course.
Former Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann established the Pacific Century Fellows- Marianas Chapter during his visit here in November 2013.
